Ordered it on the 17/04, dealer said the ETA was the 24th June so delivery should be around about a week later. I'm hoping it lives up to the hype as iv not had the chance to drive one.

@JBD - Quick question if I may...

How do orders get progressed through the MB network -

Reason I ask.. my order was placed before FM123 (good on him getting his!!) and just checked the status of my order and its been pushed back again yesterday from last day in Nov to mid December due to "part shortages".

Any insight as to why this may be the case ? Do dealer cars get priority over lease cars ?

Think the new C class has almost every modern option and latest technology except 'his and her' personalised keyless go keys with memory function

My brother a BMW driver, harps on about the ability of the car to detect who's key is being used and automatically unlocks, moves seats, steering, heating and sets personal infotainment settings before you get into the car. (same with Infiniti Q50 I recently test drove).

Not an issue for me as the Mrs, won't drive my car. She knows how much I love my cars so is always scared to drive it for fear of damaging it!
Although I would let her, I'm silently happy she won't! I'm too precious over my car!

Hi Everyone, Quick update after a few days of ownership. Firstly believe the hype!!! The car is everything that was promised and more. It drives like a dream!! The hybrid transition is flawless. You can hardly make out that the petrol engine has been engaged. The only real way to tell is to look at the Rev counter. In regards to mpg since iv had the car I have done approx 100 miles at around 80 mpg!! Admittedly this has been all local short trips with recharges in between. The longest range I have managed is around 14 miles on one full charge. The ride comfort is fantastic. The cabin is quiet and the pan roof makes its airy. The lighting indoor and out is fabulous. Driving in hybrid mode is like driving any other car. The one thing I have noticed is you do need to be vigilant for pedestrians as they don't hear you coming. (Haven't ran anyone over yet!!). The tech on this car is truly mind blowing. The 360 degree camera is a must. The distronic plus is intoxicating! !!. Waiting for the connect me services to be registered so will give an update once iv had it running for a while! If there's anything specific people want me to write about please let me know!

Regarding the accidental running over of pedestrians, isn't there an option to switch a pedestrian warning on? (Or have I have my hybrids mixed up)

Congratulations on your car, I hope you are enjoying it.

Please, please, please can you do me (and the whole of the world) a favour? Please let us all know what economy you get if you fully charge the car, stick it in Hybrid/Economy and drive for 100 miles in a "fairly" normal way (from someone who is averaging 48mpg in a 520d).

To me the answer to this question is the key enigma of this car, as a company car driver I really need to know that on a 80/100/120 mile day starting with full charge but no further charging that I'll be able to achieve 40mpg.

From a conntect Me point of view, I have been advised that a lot of lease car companies are not signed up to the scheme and therefore it does not get enabled on the car?? Any thoughts on this ?

Glad there's people getting them now. Looking forward to everyone else posting details too when their car arrives.
The tech and spec on these cars is awesome. The Connect Me functionality astounds people when I tell them about it. I just hope I find myself using it all as often as I'm thinking about it all now!!

Hmm can't see why they wouldn't unless is administrative lazyness.

Does anyone know if you can set up the timers for the charging and pre heating via the car only or does this need to be done via the app ?
