Had an email from my dealer late yesterday to say my production date had moved from yesterday, 14th, to the 25th.
Was very apologetic but blaming circumstances outside their control, i.e. Mercedes.
Hopefully this new date will be adhered to.

Looks a fabulous spec, I'm not jealous at all
I agonised over the colour. Dealer insisted that you need to have a contrast between interior & exterior. Had a petrol demo in white with red seats (unavailable in Sport) and thought that suited the car. Really didn't want black interior as my CLS is that and I find it too dark and gloomy so with the grey thought the black would be best. The rest of the world seem to be going with Brilliant Blue but I think it looks good on an estate but not the saloon.
This is an interesting one..
Wonder what AMG kit these are ?

Nice one! We don't have these premium plus packages. It is all about going through the pricelist and choosing what you want/need.

There is virtually no difference with the exception of some chrome trim, there is a seperate thread here discussing it but guess 2015 = Extra chrome trim 2016 = not.

Requested Production Date : 17.11.2015
Expected Delivery Date 2 : 04.12.2015
Expected Delivery Date at Port : 27.11.2015
Order placed on 13/5/15
I have identified my lease company and had asked NHS fleet solutions to enquire about the Connect Me services. The response from the dealer who they asked was as follows:
"Tom is kind of correct, some lease companies have opted out of the driver having access to the Connect Me services, so you could check with @@@@@ what their stance is on this. However I do believe they have opted out.
The reason for this is that it is the leasing companies vehicle and Connect me gives the driver access to other services including service records and geo-fencing, I think that some leasing companies have just said no because they don’t understand what it is and will slowly come round to the idea as most other manufactures are launching similar products over the coming years."
NHS fleet solutions also spoke to the lease company about Connect Me who have advised they believe it is a subscription process for these features. This cost is not incorporated into the lease price, so if I wanted it I would need to arrange this with a Mercedes-Benz dealer and paid for by me"
So there we have it. Glad I checked my personal email account today.
Must say NHS fleet solutions have been very helpful in dealing with my queries.

I really do not understand why mine is taking so long compared to others.
I ordered in late March, currently due mid Dec Build date, plus delivery so really it will be next year.
Question - HAS ANYONE else ordered a towbar??? - wonder if this is the blocker ?

May I ask if someone could kindly PM some additional information on NHS fleet solutions across please? A close family member of mine should I believe have access, as an NHS employee, but has no idea and cannot source the information from colleagues or HR.

Not all NHS trusts operate it and not all use NHS fleet solutions. They would need to clarify through their local HR/Payroll department. Once confirmed they would be able to set up an account online and see all available vehicles and once happy to proceed it is managed through NHS fleet and neds signatures from line manages etc.

Yes lease via NHS fleet solutions and I emailed them asking for assistance.
Mentioned I had become obsessed and close to being sectioned. I think they took pity.
I receive the standard update email every two weeks that just confirms estimated delivery and nothing else.

We ordered ours very close to gether then. I sent all the paperwork back about mid to late may, not sure when it actually got ordered. My weekly update tells me end november delivery. Im guessing i should be able to acccess freeze dates etc on my order too then, Thanks for the info

No problem. Initially they did say they could not access freeze date etc so just bear in mind. Clearly my recent query ended up with the unexpected gift of specifics.

Strange to me that the model I've ordered (250d AMG Line) is not listed there under the "New Mercedes-Benz Model Nomenclature" on page 5.
It lists all the other engines. Hope they haven't dropped the 250d
