C350e anyone considering one?

I was torn between the black gloss with the crystal grey or dark ash. As I couldn't decide I went for the free one but still have time to swap

I went onto the MB online configurator yesterday and the black ash is now a free option as well as the black gloss.

I would so prefer to have black ash compared to my order of piano black. When i was ordering (April) it wasnt available and i had noticed it on other cars in the range and loved it then. Dissapointed. Guess i will have to keep a cloth handy to wipe the finger prints and dust regularly when i hopefully get it this month.

Does anybofy on here know which dealers NHS fleet are using?? Is it just one delaer or multiple?? Not being told an awful lot and since mine is due this month im guessing it should be nearly in this country.

I've got an NHS Fleet order on the go too.

They only use specific dealers up in Northumberland. Unfortunately I've never found out which until I've got the cars. Information is not their strong point.

However a colleague who picked up his BMW a few months ago actually managed to pick up the car from the dealer as he was in the area on due-date day! So he got the rare new car feeling direct from the dealer!

I ordered my c350e in July, and I've got an 'Early March 2016' due date currently. Been pushed back from a early Feb due date originally.

Black Ash now a £195 option on Jan onwards cars, but not free.

You're right!

Not sure why though - hopefully I can change mine as well...

You can. It's following on from it being standard on sport and AMG line in the GLC. The gloss black hasn't been popular with customers. You can get black ash on sport from January production

I'm pretty sure that the C350e ordered through NHS Fleet Solutions are from Sytner. I ordered in June and have anticipated date of early Feb. If that is the case I will probably tell them to keep it until March so I can have the new plate.

Managed to kerb an alloy and take a chunk out of my left rear tyre today, regretting the lack of 360 camera now and my general clumsiness. Are these Hankook tyres easy to find in the wider rear size?

Gutted! :fail:

NHS fleet use 8 Diffrent lease company's so where the cars come from is up to lease company , NHS fleet will let you know what lease company your car is with

If your car is scheduled for December production and you specify black ash wood trim, does production get delayed to January or is it just not an option at all? If production gets delayed, is it certain by how much? I guess others get to leap forwards also...?

NHS Fleet let me know who my lease company was and got in touch with the MB dealer about my Connect Me queries. This happened a few months in from my order date.

Automotive and North East MB dealer.

Mine is scheduled for December and I can't make any changes now. If I did it would be a cancellation and starting from scratch. Plus cancellation fees.

I'd be surprised if you were able to make changes to a December production car now.

I spotted very early (before MB I think) that there was a BIK penalty for the packs that needed 18" wheels on estate - so I carefully ordered individual options like Burmeister.
]

So you can order individual items that are in Option Packs?

Interesting, I was told it was not possible.

This makes a huge difference to me.

Can't really work out why anyone would want to fiddle with a minor thing like a trim after having waited so long, not for any other reason that leaving it well alone so it doesn't get an even longer wait...!

I'd prefer the black ash if it were NCO, but even if it was wouldn't dare try changing it having been waiting since April!

On another note, I've checked with my leasing company and no issues with the ConnectMe services. I'm free to have it all fully enabled. This isn't the case for all leasing companies however. Shame.

Not sure thats a realistic delivery date, based on my experience, I ordered in March 2015, and just on Monday my build date was the 12th Jan 2016 with the poss option it may slip further due to "factory delays".

End result would be delivery in Feb at the very earliest.

Spoke to my supplying dealer yesterday and I'm still scheduled for late January delivery. So hasnt slipped at all from the date given in mid June on ordering.
