C350e anyone considering one?

Had mine a week now.

First week I didn't do too many long journeys, just any excuse to get out in it really!! I have done my first commute to fleet from Northampton (208 miles round trip) and the range was 16 miles electric when I got in (started 14 for the first few days). Drove Hybrid mainly with a switch to S+ for some of the A43 route home, got to be honest was driving like I stole it as I wanted to open it up, weirdly managed to generate 2 miles of extra electric. Too early to compare MPG etc as i want to get 2k miles under my belt and will then look at what I'm getting.

Havent seen the electric bill for charging at home yet but have my eco and charge master accounts up and running for on the go charging.

The controls have taken a bit of time but now know the back button opens the main menu and then go from there. Cant seem to say destination home or work and get it to work, despite saving them??!!

Apart from no outside temp display I have no issues, love it.

Yes, seen that on the wife's Leaf through this year. Much better range in the warm weather, just because the batteries are warm!

I'm actually hoping for a really cold winter, (strangely enough) so I can get the benefit of the pre-heating in the morning!! :)

Just an article to read:

Some Mercedes, BMW and Peugeot models consuming around 50% more fuel than official results, new study reveals | Transport & Environment

It won't change my mind- still the BEST in the current market ;)

A question for those of you with a C350e

Has anyone got a tyre sealant kit in the car? I haven't, I have a Premium Plus so 18" wheels and the tyres fitted aren't run flats. I would of expected a tyre sealant kit in the car for this combination but haven't got one and I'm not 100% sure whether it's a dealer oversight or Mercedes just don't provide it..

Thanks!

Me either. They are run flats, check the tyre- they should say "MO" on the side- that's Mercedes' nomenclature for run flats.

Ah now there's a question. I would have said yes but now I will need to check.

I persuaded myself that there was a kit box under the high visibility jackets etc in the little cupboard in the boot designed I think to house the fast charge cable, well I keep mine in there.

MO means they are Merc approved, nothing to do with being a run flat.

Correct, 'Mercedes Original' tyres are approved by Mercedes, but they are available as both runflats and normal tyres. MO designation does not necessarily apply that the tyre is runflat.

Oops! Consider myself corrected! MO Extended is their quasi-run flat from reading up on it... Not quite as beefy as full run flats but enough to get you somewhere safe, supposedly.
Certainly, no trace of any tirefit/spare etc...

Guess you just press the button on the roof to call for assistance!

After a 8 month wait finally got mine last week ..... The car also has the 18" wheels and the sealant and compressor is in the boot under the high viz jacket and first aid kit stored in the left hand side storage area.

Affirmative... Under the towing eye. Wouldn't have thought to look under there, honestly.
Hope I'll never need it..!

Because images of the car exterior can be seen elsewhere (not mine- but others with the same car!)- here's some images I haven't seen that I'm certain will be of interest to some!
