C350e anyone considering one?

Hmmmm, this doesn't look good. 3 1/2 weeks into ownership and around 1300 miles!

Thanks for that update Stu. Interesting reading for all. This is not a criticism but why is everyone so concerned about not having outside temp? Not just 350e owners, but 205 owners in general. I've had temp gauges on most my cars and never look at them much other than curious on chilly mornings.

Does anyone know if this is a good enough deal?

The price includes Metallic paint and the 18" alloy wheels. Lease company said confirmed delivery for mid-late March.

Yikes. New batteries? Can't be right can it? Tried re-booting? :dk:

Yep, switched off, restarted etc several times. Message keeps popping up when I switch off. No obvious problem though, car drives ok, charges, will go electric only etc! Think I'll be giving Lex a call in the morning though!!

Good luck pal.

Looks a strong deal. Hopefully lead time is accurate but I would take that with a pinch of salt. Would question at point of order should the lead time slip by a large margin what your options for cancellation are?

Outside temp is a nice to have, it feels like I could run the world from my cockpit however can't see if it is below 0'c or not!!

I ordered my C350e estate in April and impatiently waiting along with many others it seems !

So I've been lurking on here for a while, reading up on all the great advice you guys have posted killing time waiting for D-day.

Well good news is it's now at the dealers awaiting tri-party handover (lease co. / Finance Co. / Dealer) hopefully this week the stars will align and I can finally stop asking - "Dude where's my Car?"

So in order to pass the final few days of waiting I am trying to set up connect me services. Have the VIN - registered it and spoke to the dealer so it's work in progress, but one question is puzzling me - is it actually an app for the phone as I can't find it on the apple app store? or is it just a website?

Any advice gratefully received :)

It's just the website as I understand it. Asked a similar question myself.

I simply did this on my phone and saved the page to the home screen, it feel like an app to be fair but it is a website.

See how you go. I did all the same things as you and got some info but things like pre heat and all the other bits weren't there, was about to come on here and ask for help and then it turned up on the site about 2 days after I got the car.

Enjoy the new arrival!!:bannana:

Eagle has landed!

Collected my car last night :bannana: and yes the outside temperature is showing :thumb:. Have the AMG style exhausts (not imitation) and it looks fantastic :D.

Will post some pictures soon.

Hi Eagle

could you put up some pics please.

I get my new car tomorrow 8am. Salon PP Solid white tow bar. Ordered on April. Then I'm taking it for privacy glass fitment.

Got my reg number this morning, along with a courtesy email from the lease company informing me that they've cleared the dealer to arange delivery. So it should be some time next week I guess, although it was still in Germany on Monday.

Hi - I have read every post in this thread and now I am very much looking forward to switching from cash to company car. Our choice list has recently expanded from "any Vauxhall" to "any Vauxhall or the C350e".

One thing that I am wondering is the benefit of dropping the extra notes for the Premium Plus pack over and above the Premium pack. How are those who have got their cars finding the standard sound system... do you wish you had gone for the Burmester? My current car has a B&O sound system and frankly it sounds 'ok' but not amazing. Equally Command Online appears to get you a bigger tablet and some additional online features but as a package an extra £1300 sounds like quite a bit for what you actually get (since the 350e is pretty well specified as standard anyway).

Thank you for posting photos btw... our local dealer only has white cars in their showroom so getting an idea of colours has been challenging.

Never used the online functions of COMAND, it's never worked!
The media connections and hard drive is I believe better, and the nav system is good. I can't comment on the standard system, haven't used one, but the cost to have Prem Plus over premium was so slight, it was worth every penny.

Burmester- it's excellent once you turn the surround function off- that just made it way too bright sounding. Was I expecting more from it? Yeah, probably. That said, audio quality makes a massive difference- perhaps it brings out the worst of poor audio encoding.
To be fair, I had it up VERY loud today, louder than I've ever had a car stereo really and it was crystal clear all the way- no distortion like you get on lesser systems.
The bass is also very deep and rumbling without sounding over the top like a nasty after market subwoofer.
So on balance, yeah- it's as good as any car speaker system I've experienced so probably worth it.
Again, haven't used the standard system so can't comment on it. Previous experience of a C Class Coupe I had with the standard speakers was very good though.

Just go for it...... ;)

Hello! May I ask if anyone knows whether any of the government grant eligible EV charging points are smart enough to automatically charge the vehicle at a prescribed time, for example during off-peaks hours when electricity costs are lower? The Schneider one seems to do this, but it is not clear how much it costs...

Thank you for your help and any advice!

P.S. Also posted in the other 350e thread.
