2K miles in my C350e
Appreciate this won't be a great read for all the "waiters" out there (and no not the front of house staff in restaurants)
C350e Prem+, ILS, Brill Blue Estate - Northamptonshire
Having had mine for about a month now and covered 2203 miles (Can see that from the app) I wanted to give some honest feedback on where I am at.
PROS::bannana:
Drive is so smooth, power if and when you need it love the S and S+ driving mode!
Toys and gadgets, still finding new shortcuts to bits.
Comfort - Seats and settings are lovely, love the memory function and the easy exit function.
ILS - Really seeing the benefits of this and great on the country roads.
Pre Heat - Wow, just love the warmth and hassle free mornings - Bring on more frosts!!
Sound - Love the sound system.
Nav - Very clear and now getting my head around easier voice instructions!
CONS:
MPG - I often charge mid day and do little runs around town, I then commute to Fleet (208 miles). I am not getting an average anywhere near the advertised rate....will anyone??!! (not that you would ever know as it only goes to 99.99!) (I should point out I do try and make an effort on my long run, then realise Im not getting close so on the return leg play with paddles and S option!) I do however find it odd that I can't even get mid 40's to low 50's even on a good mix of driving. My issue more than the car to be fair
No outside temp gauge - Hopefully get and update this week from Saxon to see if the dealer has an update
Cant send POI's - Have tried to send locations via the app and can't
ILS and Traffic assist - Often comes up telling me they aren't working, reset by turning engine off.
Boot - Boot is a bit smaller in terms of depth (Ordered blind in April) not a game changer but a bit disappointing.
Seems like more CONs but overall I absolutely love the car, it was well worth the 7 month wait.
Have only seen one other so far - White saloon pulling into Little billing!
Had no issues from Leasplan on set up of functions.
Ive got used to the braking, Find Eco a weird setting and misleading in terms of regenerating energy for additional miles.
I currently have the I* driving mode with Haptic on, Eco AC, Sport Steering and Sport Sus with comfort engine. I do find the C setting a bit odd on the motorways, I like the firmer steering of S mode.
Have only charged once away from home so far, having registered etc plugged in and walked away, in doing so I realised I had parked in the further bay using the nearside point - Thus looking like a complete novice and also making it difficult for an other user!! Thank fully no one came - Still learning!
