C350e owners club

OK. got a question for any/all C350e owners.

In theory. I have a C350e. I charge it up every night in my garage. Drive 10 miles to work every day by road (not motorway) charge it all day at work. Then drive 10 miles home and repeat the cycle the next day.

Would I ever use any petrol?

I understand I'd not be able to use the power for 0-60 runs. I'm talking careful driving.

Just curious.

Ant.
If you preheat and drive in E mode, you should not use any petrol on that milage.

Then again, it might be tempting to hit the trottle :-)

I've managed to get it tethered with an iPhone connected via Bluetooth. But needed the phone's "personal hotspot" switched on for it to work.
Excellent news. Which service provider are you using when connected ?

First I want to thank you all for this tread, in my hunt for the right level of packets this was most helpful.
I’ve ordered close to everything, and really look forward to mid February when its due for delivery
I have ordered the COMMAND Online also, Anyone got some experience with this yet?
Also ordered the speed sign reader, and hopefully i could assist on most questions regarding, distronic, parktronic, memory package, HUD and such.

For what it is worth I think the HUD with road speed display and the 360 degree camera were the best extras I added, and I added just everything else. Haven't used the Park Assist yet and have yet to utilise fully the Comand system, particularly the connectivity to Internet.

So I have finally had that great email saying the car is with the dealer :) 32 weeks to the day from when the dealer placed the order. They are now trying their hardest to turn it around and get it to me on Thursday as it's my birthday on Friday. Not sure it's possible with the complications of being a lease car but fingers crossed!

Now THAT's what you call a Birthday Presant. :bannana:

Good luck mate. Keep us posted.

A question for you owners. With Park Assist, does it do both parallel parking and reverse into car park spaces? If so how do you work it.

Mine is supposed to be with me next month.

Yes to all.
When you see an arrow at the P sign in the cluster it have seen a spot to park in. You put the car in reverse, and press OK. let go of the steering wheel, just use brake and gas to get into the space. You might be asked to change from R to D and back one or two times.

Tested it "works great"

Thanks for that tutorial. You forgot just one required precursor, nerves of steel

Thanks. Probably just use it for showing off, but nice to know so I can show off properly!

Haha, test by your self some times before trying to impress the lady of you life ;-)
When I tested i never hit the gas, just let the level of breaking adjust me into the right spot.

If anything goes wrong, blame the IT department!

PS dont mind my faulty English, i´m from the frosty country Norway.

The interior i've ordered, I ordered black leather seats though.

I always thought the 350e only comes in 'Sport' trim. :dk:

Didn't know you can order in AMG Line. (Eg flat bottomed steering wheel, stitched dash etc...)

In Germany you can order the AMG front end, side skirts and interior on the C350e, just at present lacking the rear bumper... however you can purchase an aftermarket C350e AMG rear bumper.
