C36 AMG hunting at idle - MAF?

From a Bosch Service Center or normal Motor factor for the correct part

Excellent, thanks again Television, you are a star.

They look really easy to fit, am I kidding myself? Any links to a 'how-to' guide? Or should I just get my local Bosch centre to do it (assuming they're cheaper than MB...)?

Thanks & sorry for all the questions...

Just looked at the thread for the first time.

Your first picture shows the coolant container and it is VERY low.

Trust that was pointed out to you at the inspection service.

Ooooh, well spotted. It's actually much more obvious on the picture than in real life. Autokare never noticed and MB haven't mentioned it either, so one gold star for you :D

I've got some Comma Xtralife Green in the shed, that should do the trick.

After talking to my brother (who thankfully still owns the car, so the cost of the maf is coming off the bill) I've left the car with the dealer for a few reasons. They would have charged me 80-odd quid for the investigation work, they told me the car was unsafe to drive home (which, after my journey from hell on the way in, I'd have to agree) and they gave me a courtesy car for the weekend. All in all, so far, very good service, which is always worth a few quid in my book.

Thanks for all the help and comments so far, this is an excellent and extremely helpful forum and I already have a few mods planned (pedals first). I just hope the car turns out to be as good as it seems

By the way, they had a gorgeous brand new (no plates) black C63 on the forecourt, which I think was being collected right then. It was absolutely stunning and I felt a little proud that my car is its great grandfather! I asked the salesman for the keys, but he thought I was joking  ;)
