C43 AMG Coupe

Congrats, looks a beast.

Really lovely that

No hard driving yet though as there’s a sticker in or drive faster than 85mph until 1,000 miles have been covered.

I must admit that’s a rather strange sticker to pop on a UK supplied car.

The guy that dropped it off said he’d been told specifically that he had to point it out to me. Reckons it’s a new thing possibly because of gearbox issues on new cars?
I have the equivalent sticker on my 2007 ML, still there, proud as anything on the windscreen.

I’ll be removing it tomorrow. Another pet hate, as well as chrome, is stickers on cars. New number plate holders are on the way so I can get rid of the current ones with the MB dealership details on them.

Same on my 2018 Mondeo although that states no driving over 45mph
Really! No motorway driving for 1,000 miles is a bit unrealistic.
I thought running in was a thing of the past until I git the M4 and I thought that would be a one off. I wonder if Porsche, Ferrari, etc. all need to be run in? Seems to be a performance car thing.

What will it do mister?
85mph until I’ve done 1,000 miles ;)

I think it’s limited to 155mph, assuming that’s what you mean?
I think 'greenmanslk' was referring to the comment you would normally get from young admirers in their Burberry baseball caps, as in "Hey Mister, how fast have you had out of it" or "What's it got on the clock, mate"

Very nice car, by the way.

Had the same on my C63 , I guess it is a good way of ensuring that the new owner is aware of this as reading the manual may not be a priority but going for a blast will be!
