LOL ^^^^ I held them in but nothing at all
possible the pump then

Faulty pump is expensive ~£1k, don't ask how I know!!

Sit tight and wait to see If it's just a cover oil leak that needs sorting. Ask if he can get the seats sorted also, or at least diagnosed and quoted for fixing.

Thought you'd like the exterior / interior colours, not many like this so gives you some exclusivity.....

For the pump that inflates the muti- contour and in my case dynamic, seats.

Re the seats. Fairly common issue. Could be pump, could be leaky airbags, leaky vacuum tank, ruptured air pipe... Im just getting my seats fixed quote as follows

To replace the dynamic seat pump.

Replacement pump £557.00 plus VAT

Labour £90.00 plus Vat

Total cost £ 776.40 including VAT

The Star test also showed faults with O/S/F and N/S/F dynamic seat bags leaking, these can not be tested until the pump is replaced.

The cost of replacing these bags should they be required are

Air bags for each seat are £94.10 plus VAT

Labour per seat £172.50 plus VAT

Total cost for both seats £639.84 including VAT.

The pump has been replaced but it was a leaky vacuum tank only a few quid

Was the root cause the leaky vacuum tank ?

This is what I'm told. Firstly they had to replace the pump as it was not creating enough PSI, then with this replaced they tested the pipes and airbags for leaks nothing ... So they tested the vacuum tank which is the culprit. It's taken 3 weeks to get one (coming next Wednesday) then it's just a quick swap out. Located in the boot. This better bloody fix it

What was the fault with the tank ? Could it be DIY repaired ? Did it have to come
From Germany ?

Leaking, so I assume a crack or ruptured seal. Not a huge job to replace.
And yes it's been on back order from Factory.

Have to admit all that completed under warranty is a nice position to be in !

The sales manager at Parkside Direct is brilliant... Best after sales service I've ever had from a specialist dealer. Highly recommend this place.

9am Tomorrow
Can't wait :D

And????????

Got mine back today after being without it for two weeks, it now looks absolutely stunning. After 2 weeks in an E63 bi-turbo which I was just starting to enjoy, I am glad to be back in the CLS. Really don't know whether to keep it or sell.......
