Private plate isnt on the car at the moment as it is sorned off the road but it is under KT13 HVO

hi would you be looking at selling any time soon?

Hi Guy’s thanks for the great thread, it makes good reading.

Can someone post an ‘example’ of a C63 Estate 507 Edition VIN number highlighting / pointing out the elements which show the 507 Edition and estate / wagon

Thanks ….

No parts of the VIN indicate that it’s a 507, but once you search for the vin using an online check you will find the full specification.

I see, so if you what to check that its a factory 507 you must check the spec on the VIN.

In that case once the VIN is checked can some let me know what the key specification items are which confirm 507 ?

Thanks

And the spec would be..

Alcantara wheel and gearknob, decals, black mirrors/spoiler and daytime running lights. 507 Edition badge above glovebox. Forged engine (dark grey intake manifold), red brakes calipers and obviously the 507 edition forged wheels... might have missed something?

Plate - WV63 LSL

Nice one just come up at Millenium Hereos. I offered them £250 less delivered under 100 miles away and they said no. So I offered full ask collected for a full tank of fuel and they said no again lol!

hard to find nice ones but the search will continue as that seems a little mad!

This is Andys old car. The reason they said no...is because its under priced.

Oh right, they told me they had factored new tyres, MB service and fresh MOT in the ask. Is it on SOR from Andy or did they buy it really cheap?

Andy wanted 36/37 privately for it, I hope he traded it in and got a decent trade in value for it...

If they are servicing it at Mercedes, fitting new tyres as well...and its as good as Andy made it out to be on the forum then its a genuine steal. I would have bought it in a heartbeat if I was looking as it has a very nice spec too.

Someone must have made a loss between Andy and them then. They also offered it at £32,500 with no tyres, no service and no warranty included. But I figured that was worth about £1500 :-/

Completely depends on the quality of tyres they fit (all round?), cost of the Mercedes service (A or B?) and the warranty they are offering.

Yes all round, they didn’t specify but it’s on continentals so I assumed it would be like for like. Service was a minor one and to be done at MB. Fresh MOT would be put on and they would provide 12 months warranty from whoever they use. I just found it strange they would offer all that but say it basically won’t have any fuel in it.

I would assume the general standard for all their vehicles is freshly serviced and have over a certain amount of tread on the tyres. In my opinion, arguing over a small amount of money on a car like this is pretty crazy. Other than one other early last year I haven’t seen any coupes with under 20k miles for sale for less than 40k. It will be sold pretty fast and hopefully it goes to an enthusiast who will cherish it as much as Andy has.

I did think this, my last car was a Porsche 991 Turbo and that had 9,000 miles on the clock. I bought it last year from Redline Specialist Cars and that came with a full tank, warranty, service and two new tyres without me even mentioning it.

I just found it strange to say it wouldn’t come with fuel. Sounds silly as I get it’s a fair value car but surely a tank of fuel is a given on any nice car purchase.

Maybe I will call them.

I doubt you will find another low mile car tbf. The spec is good too.

I’ve always had to haggle a full tank of fuel with dealerships and that’s on cars that aren’t rare. This is a different kettle of fish, I doubt you’ll find a lower mileage car anytime soon with this spec... and they know this.
The margins in this for them could be very slim too.

Lol why would you want to loose a car so special over a fuel tank?
Andy really has cherished that car. And no doubt the best I’ve seen.
I’ll be giving them a call first thing as I maybe interested in it
