Top man :cool: Have you seen the Magno coupe on A.T? It has no pics up but it's got a pretty good spec (including LSD etc). Link

Theres also this one which looks pretty good. Low owners, low mileage, great spec etc, just a shame about the refurbed wheels.

Given the stunning silver couple just sold on CC (which was in excellent condition and full merc history) for 36k plus fees (the car had LSD and loads of spec), those seem extremely highly priced in an very uncertain market atm. I haven’t actually seen any movement of 507’s for a long time on autotrader.

Exactly - a lot of those cars have not sold for two years and some for more than a year.

The market has definitely slowed down but these aren't ludicrously priced imo, especially when you consider they 'were' selling for these prices regularly around 1-2 years ago. Plus, objectively speaking a 507 isn't worth double the value of a regular C63 in the same way a Black Series isn't worth more than 3 times the value of a 507!

It's a limited market, if seller's aren't prepared to let their car go for less than a certain amount, fair play to them. It's not as if AMG's latest offering has got people queueing up!

I don’t know which coupes you saw selling for this.

It took me 4 months to sell mine in the peak period a year and a half ago. I got loads of offers for the same as what WBAC were offering at 40.5k for a 13k mile immaculate full merc history white coupe with reasonable options (eventually I got a better offer). I look today and there are still some of the same cars for sale which were back then.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore the 507 and the w204 platform car, for under 50k you can’t get a more fun car. But they’re ludicrously expensive to run for a sub 40k car, especially if you keep them tied in at Mercedes.
 
Any car is only worth what someone wants to pay I was going to sell mine White Coupe Full Merc History less than 9000 miles but people
just mess you about so I kept it would not know what to buy if I did sell

From memory, I think up to the second quarter of 2021 they were selling for around £35k - £43k or thereabouts and then you listed your motor for around £50k? Fair play, it was a lovely example and as mentioned above, I don't blame anyone for not letting their car go for less than what they want. Then I believe Rocky listed his for around the same price and eventually the 'desirable' examples were selling for (or at least the ads being removed) late 40s/early 50s etc. This is why when Yex's car popped up on GKirby last March, I arranged a viewing within a few hours of it being listed and went on to buy it.

However the market has definitely slowed down since, they're not shifting as quick as they were during that peak period and some of the standard examples are currently listed for what the 'desirable' examples were seemingly selling for back then. But just because they may be overpriced by today's market it doesn't necessarily mean they're bad examples (response to Rocky's post).

I must admit though, if I wasn't a sucker for rare/limited cars, I'd have probably stuck with a P31 pack example! In terms of value for money, you can't go wrong lol.
 
Hey guys. Don’t suppose anyone is looking to part ways for a 507 estate. Needs to have a fantastic spec and around 50k miles or there abouts. Try me
 
I never can see the extra money in a 507 over a std one....nice wheels, bonnet vents and a few extra ponies (which can easily be gained by mapping the stocker to E63 6.2 engine specs to allow the throttles to fully open).....and?....well that about it. Its no Black Series ......
 
You picked the highest price ones....some of those have been for sale for ages......meanwhile at the other, more realistic, end.

The 1st 1 is an edition 125 which means nothing just a bog standard c63 and is way over priced ,ive been looking at the 507 prices for a while now and as said they are all over the place in genral between the £30k upwards 😀
