Hey guys, I've not been on here for so long due to various reasons,, as for the sale of my 507 and purchase of the GTs.. what a stupid Midlife crisis that was.
Thankfully the 507 is now back with me and the project is now moving into new territory

Mind you I was a little tempted to drop a cheeky bid on a GT recently, the 4.7 with a ZF transmission. You can pick one up for about £25k (post variator issues), I thought it'd be a nice cruiser alongside the 507 and the daily but then the hand of sensibility gave me a slap (Misses).

Hi everyone. Sadly my C63 has been stolen this afternoon.
About 22.5-23k on the clock, 507 edition white coupe with black wheels.
Original reg WV63 LSL
Please keep an eye for parts or anything related to it.
Had it booked in for new air con unit and a service so at least they got it before I’d done that!
Had very little fuel in it.
Seems they broke in the house looking for the spare key, our giant mastiff did nothing to stop them and we found him shaking.
Luckily I’d taken my two bulldog puppies to work with me and wife wasn’t home.
Any advice with insurance? Never had this issue before.

Very sorry to hear that. It’s awful, but thankfully you we’re all out, and hopefully no lasting harm to your Giant Mastiff. I hope it’s sorted quickly and easily.

Hi mate, sorry you had to go through this. On the bright side (as mentioned above) at least you and your family didn't have to experience the ordeal and the dog wasn't injured.

Naturally, call the police first and then contact the insurance provider and say the car was stolen. Before you call them, just make sure you go through the finer details when you took out the policy as they may try to use them against you. I.e. the car was supposed to be garaged when not in use but you had it out on the driveway when it was stolen. They may ask for images of any damage to locking mechanisms, broken windows, CCTV etc.

Thanks mate, all seems to be going ok with them, few banana skins thrown but aware they can be sneaky. All above board. Just need to see how Admiral view the value.

This is what’s my worth according to AT private sale and part ex. This is the car I sold last year but I used as an example as it’s got 22/23k on the clock. I used a dealer HPI cap so it’s about on the mark. However, there is a little premium with 507s but not a lot are selling at the moment as there is other cars at the price point.
