C63 507 Model Register

Hi all,

I am still very much enjoying my 507. I have a friend looking at a 507 saloon at HK performance, reg SV14 LJY. It looks a good example other than a couple of marks on the alloys..! If anyone has any info on this or former owners on here it would be greatly appreciated to hear about the car.

Looks a stunning car but at a shocking price 🤔 seems abit steep to me but I maybe wrong
 
Seems VERY strongly priced compared to others I've seen for sale recently....

I went to see this when it was up for sale in summer 2021, it was up for £56k. It had a basic spec, was missing a service (seller refused to admit it), had 4 owners and wasn't exactly immaculate. The only thing working in it's favour was the low mileage and the fact it's a saloon.

Also the seller wasn't prepared to move much on the price, so I reckon the current seller overpaid when the market was going crazy and is now trying to recoup their money in a stable market.

Interesting insight. My friend used to own this car, wrapped it in nardo grey and certainly looked after it. Still has original back boxes as he sold it with eisenmann exhaust. Shame that it wasn’t looked after by subsequent owners. It was sorned for a while it seems.

It wasn't in bad condition, just not immaculate. And at £56k I would have expected it to be immaculate.
 
Nice car, but for that sort of money you'd rather buy this

It hasn't been messed around with and has good options (including the LSD) from factory.
 
Love those 507 wheels....IMO the best Merc ever used. Going to get a set (probably pattern due to the mad prices being asked for the real deal) on my next Merc.... I love an open wheel design.....

The 19" multi spoke 204 c63 alloys look far far better the 507 ones are a bit meh.
 
Personal opinion.

More importantly the multi spoke have nearly all got at least one crack in. The 507 wheels are forged and don't have the problem.
 
They are both decent cars but at that price point... probably not.
 
Found my old wheels for sale again.

I sold them for £2,800 and the current owner has added the cheap AMG centre caps.

Hard to find a full set in good condition. If they are the ones I owned there's no kerbing and they are original but there was a small amount of white worm.
