I spotted it too and have put a deposit on it...:)
Going to see it tomorrow so hopefully it's all good.
That is unbelievably cheap for a car with that mileage. Would've expected it to be at least £4k more than that.
I've posted in your other thread.

Just done another chart of cars registered by month [136 cars]

They pop up occasionally but many say that the Quaiffe LSD is a better option after market than the factory fit one.

I'm new to C63 ownership and ding have a LSD in mine. What seams a little suprising is that so few of the 507 cars were specified with the LSD option when the prevailing view is that it's worth having on a standard C63 then it would definitely be worth having with 507 BHP to play with.

I think quite a few deliberately didn't specify the factory fit option as the Quaife is a bit cheaper and maintenance free.

Seen quite a few for sale, advertised with LSD, but not on the factory options for the car. I've got mine booked in at MSL in April.

I met with another C63 owner who lives locally who had the Quaife LSD fitted at MSL and he thinks it's a great upgrade.

I've been considering a Quaife for mine (once the bank balance recovers a bit) but wasn't sure whether to keep it 100% standard or not given the rarity of the estates in particular.

How long are you thinking of keeping the car for? Is it something that you would get benefit from during that time? That’s probably the primary consideration.
I’d also have thought that it would be attractive to a potential buyer but I’m not in the trade so don’t quote me on that. Maybe speak to one of the specialist dealers such as Church’s or GKirby to see what their advice is on resale value if that helps?

There was a black estate for sale £36k but had about 48k miles or so on it, anyone on here snap it up? thought it was very cheap

It was for sale at Sytner Carlisle but is now at Sytner Mini, Nottingham as part of the Sytner Select brand.
Had a quick look at it on my way home from work tonight. Looks like it has got wheel spacers on as tyres are very tight to the arches. Also had after market window tints.

Yep, hadn't spotted that. They only got it in on Thursday so that's pretty good going. Explains why there wasn't a price ticket on the windscreen

Before I purchased my C63 507 I kept a register of all the cars that I saw for sale, until eventually I found the right one for me, a silver coupe with black 507 wheels. I decided to keep the list going, partly for interest and partly as a challenge, to see how many of the 233 UK registered cars I could find. OK, I know it makes me look like a right 'Anorak' but this is the last of the big engine NA cars that Mercedes ever made so a milestone in their history.

I did post previously here
C63 507 Statistics

but since then the Register has grown to 130 cars for which I have Registration No., build spec etc.

The first 507 was registered in July 2013 and the last in May 2015. The busiest months for new cars, unsurprisingly, were Sept 2013 and March 2014.

Coupes were the most popular body style and Estates quite rare. I understand only 21 Estates were ever sold in the UK

Colour wise, Polar White is by far the one you're most likely to see. I hadn't originally realised that Tenorite Grey was an option as there was no mention of this in the sales brochure.

Looking at the options list then Privacy Glass, Harmon Kardon sound system and Black 19" wheels feature on over half the cars. If you're looking for a Tenorite Grey Estate with Lane tracking package you may have a long wait (one does exist though).

Finally, interior trim. Most going for full black leather rather than either of the Leather/Dinamica options

I know there are a few on here who own, or have owned a 507 so would be great if you can send me a pm with details of your car so I can include on the Model Register [Apowers; JohnV; kw507; Contrast; Bongo Fury; Mike746; steelnads; bravo05; benzyone; H20MRV).

Also, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know about this awesome model and I'll add to this thread.

Great info Phil

Was Diamond white not offered on the 507?

Diamond White wasn't available on the 507 Edition but was available on the 'standard' C63. Just these 6 colours were possible for the 507:

Thanks, great stats on the 507. I see Fire Opal Red had a ver low take up despite it being a very nice colour IMO. I'd read on this forum that there were some problems with the Fire Opal Red paint, did that affect all cars? If so was that maybe a reason so few were built in that colour?
