Private sale was going to be up for 37k to take minimum 35k.

Excuse blunt answers, I m sad to see the car go.

Good luck with your car sale. Hope you get your price, might be a little difficult with out warranty (But fingers crossed) when would you like to sell ?

That is exactly the problem WIN.
It’s a lot of money and I guess risk for both buyer and seller in the private domain.

I have traded for a 2017 W207 E350 at Mercedes dealer which I pickup this weekend.

It should still have the remainder of the 2 year AMG used car warranty. Assume it's transferable.

It could have a further 6 yrs on there. The problem for him is, The First digit doesn’t start with a 1..

lovely spec

Hi PhilLinda,
I have been scanning thru this thread, after discovering it during a Google search re 507 wagon UK production numbers (21 I think), & it's very interesting.
I though't I'd update you as to the whereabouts of 507 Wagon FY14YYN (now on a PP) not sure if you have this car on your register but if you do you probably know more about it than I do.
I smiled as I saw it come & go on the forum last year when it went up & was bought by me from G Kirby. Also it seems it was seen on a car spotting website in York the end of the year before I purchased.
Currently on winter tyres to improve cold/wet grip (we'll see how that translates if we have any snow as I am a 3 x Subaru Legacy owner - last one being a Spec B 3.0 manual wagon).
Keep up the excellent work & let me know if you need any more info on our 507 wagon (I have the build sheets already from Grant Kirby)
Cheers.

Welcome to the forum and for getting in touch. Also good to see you were born in an excellent year [emoji3]
I have noted that the car had wheel spacers on it. Are you still running with those or have they come off? Any other changes you've made?
I have the spec of the car but would be great if you could let me know the engine builder.
Also see that you drive an S2000. Lovely car. Wish I'd never sold mine.

Cheers - 'old C reg' then as well :-)
Still does have the wheel spacers on the rears - not my change but I do quite like the 'filled arches' look; I thought they may have to come off when the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3Ds went on all round but there's more room compared to the Michelin Pilot Super Sport summers.
Apart from that just a dash cam.
The engine builder looks like 'Guido Nordheim'
The 507 wagon is my daily driver & I do a fair mileage - was 49k from G Kirby Mar '18 (probably couldn't afford a lower mileage one) & over 60k now but I do believe that fully warmed up, well maintained miles mostly on the motorway are OK miles to have & condition is much more important.
So far it's been too useful & too much characterful fun to leave it alone.
The S2000 (16k miles) & Jag (19k) are my wife's but I do have access whenever I want :-)

And here's a photo. Must've been in my local M-B dealership before it went to GKirby

It’s low miles lovely condition if it’s got full M B History it’s going to be a bit more expensive it’s only going to get harder as time goes on to find well cared for low miles cars if that’s what some buyers want

It’s practically brand new mileage wise and looks in great condition. Fair price.

I think it’s probably the lowest mileage 507 coupe I’ve seen for sale. Essentially it’s a brand new car with the low miles. 43k with 2 yr amg warranty which again is worth in circa of 3k, Isn’t bad at all. I’d imagine it will be sold very quickly...
