So having only owned the C63 507 for 6 weeks I am putting it up for sale. Reason why….. After coming from the W205 C63s I really can’t gel with this car and find it to sluggish and gearbox a bit slow.

I know I should not compare as the 507 is a much older model etc, however it is difficult to transition and Its not working out for me.

The car is originally white, and I had it wrapped the same colour as the design magno platinum, however happy to peel off should someone prefer white.

If anyone is interested do PM me. - Happy to email pics/text. Car is based in Hertfordshire

Spec as follows.

2013

White

30,500 miles approx.

Harmon Kardon speakers

Blind spot indicators

Reversing Cam

Full leather seats

Full MB service history (Next due February)

4 Pirelli P Zero’s with 7mm tread

Had tracking done last week and all wheels fast road balanced on Saturday just gone.

I do love the look of the car but just not happy with the drive and going to go back to a W205 C63s

If anyone is interested in the car drop me a message….

Thanks,

Stefan

That was quick..
personally Stefan, I think you’d struggle selling the car on here. You’d be best advertising on eBay , Autotrader, alike..

But as @PhilLinda said previously, would be difficult selling privately due to the amount, as most people would want financing etc..

Not sure what kind of trade in offers you’ve had, maybe last resort if your in a rush to get rid...

must be a few specialist or sports car type dealers local to you that would advertise on your behalf with some kind of Sale or Return agreement? as mentioned, the C63 will lend itself to those customers looking for dealer facilities, wish you the best with selling @supaer

Looking at some Alex’s reviews etc... I’ll be definitely be in touch when it’s time to sell.
Accurate sales pitch. No catches, No bull. Keep up the good work mate

Thanks a lot, yeah there is just no need for it, customers want to be able to make an informed decision without some cheesy pinstrip suit thats too tight for him wearing salesman breathing down their neck!

I sold a SLK55 up to Scotland last week unseen, the power of the internet. I'd run my 507 as a daily if I could inherit an oil well! Do you have a complete list of 507s sold in the UK? Am I right in thinking there are around 170 Coupes

There were 230 uk registered 507’s. @PhilLinda will probably know the exact figure for the Coupes.

Alex, have a look at page one of this thread where Phil has produced a couple of charts showing breakdown between saloon, wagon and coupe and the options that went into each. It's a good eye opener to the varied specs chosen when these cars were built :thumb:

I need to update the stats on this thread but there were 178 coupes registered in the UK. I've got details of 140 of these. Still a few more out there to find [emoji3]

I think they are not genuine wheels... well they don’t look genuine.

I suspect the wheels are original as it had 19” wheels from the factory but they have been refurbished and powder coated silver rather than titanium grey with diamond cut finish.

The decals don’t look original either.

@Lizn121 it has been up for sale for a few weeks now. Looks to be in good condition and a fair price for its age an mileage, albeit not many options.

My eyesight isn’t good enough to read the engine builder on the photo [emoji6]

Weather not much good for cycling this morning so have updated the vehicle mileages on the 507 Register:

I'm unable to update the mileage for 2 cars MOT'd in Northern Ireland as that's not visible on the website.

Aside from the 6 vehicles that have never had an MOT there are a further 13 with expired MOTs. This seems particularly high that, from 180 cars, 19 are not road legal.

There's one car that is Taxed until 01/02/2019 but its MOT ran out on 06/02/2018 and another Taxed to 01/09/2019 where its MOT ran out on 08/09/2018. That's two drivers who have wasted £555!!

My engine builder is Tobias Schulter.

Tobias (Τοβίας) is a Greek version of the Hebrew biblical name "Toviyah" (טוביה),meaning "The goodness of God". ... In German, this name appears as Tobias.

God Gifted us this engine :)

The non-road legal cars are any of them sorn? I wonder if they are damaged.

I suspect, some of them are in storage or not used in winter.
