C63 507 Model Register

Finding myself in a cafe waiting for a lift I used Phil’s % to calculate numbers of 507s by type. Based on 235 cars on
How Many Left a few months back we have :

78% Coupe 183

15% Saloon 35

7% Estate 16

Hopefully Phil can collect info on all of the 507s in due course.

Coupe by colour

43% Polar White 79

27% Obsidian Black 49

13% Iridium Silver 24

7% Magno Platinum 13

6% Fire Opal Red 11

4% Tenorite Grey 7

Apparently I own one of the “common as muck” white ones , or should that be “extremely popular” :D

And I've got the following on the list:
  • Coupe 148
  • Saloon 27
  • Estate 15
Been a bit of a quiet month for new adverts. Don't think I've added a new one since February.

Hi Phil,
Do you have SV14LJY on your list?
I bought it from UberGT last year and it is now on a private plate.
Cheers Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Yes I do have the car but not the engine builder. If you could let me have that at some point I would appreciate it, thanks.

There you go
Do you have any history on the car worth knowing, if so could you pm me.
I can then send you the current registration.
Many thanks, Jeff

A well looked after coupe, prefer with interior lighting, Harmon Kardon and reversing camera. Any other options the better, and preferably white.
Good luck with your search one will turn up I’m sure

Hi Jeff
Unfortunately you don't have enough posts for me to PM you. I do have the current registration of the car and can tell you the original owner was from Scotland. As I'm sure you know, you're the 3rd owner. The car has previously been registered on P18TRO and GDS1.

Don’t let the lack of reversing camera put you off a particular car. I had a camera fitted to my first C63 , worked perfectly and I’d say picture quality was slightly better than the Merc OEM one , cost £500 fitted if it’s a must have for you.

Was for sale several weeks ago, didn’t sell then, suspect it won’t now unless a collector wants a low mileage car...

Then won’t get used at all as the low mileage is the cost premium in the really low mileage cars. Fingers crossed I’ll be getting 4/5k miles on mine this year :thumb:

Im not hung up on a reversing camera - my last one didn't have it just a nice plus point.

Absolutely, its a waste of a C63 507.

Wonder how many folk SORN their C63 over the winter? :dk:

Personally I’ve never SORN’d a car, including a couple of Morgans. You can often get some of the best driving days over winter when the temperature is just enough for the gritters to stay in the garage , roads are empty and the sun is out. Just need to respect the cooler temp and reduced grip of the tyres but some of the best drives I’ve had over the NY Moors have been during winter.

IMHO ultra low mileage cars are a bit of a curse, as most folk buy them as an investment but if you use it you take off the value. End of the day it’s their money. I’m happiest filling up ready for a run out and someone asks me if it’s “ A real 507”

I got asked if it "was real" a few days ago. It's always a mystery. :D
