C63 507 Model Register

There have been a few low mileage (around 5k) 507 coupes which have come up in the last 12 months. Problem is to keep their value as “extremely low mileage” the cars end up not being used, but still need costly annual maintenance to maintain the full service history.

After a close look at the photos the door sill looks pretty grubby , always a good indicator imho of how the owner has looked after their car.

Which raises the question of why own one of these cars and not get any enjoyment from it. I'm not suggesting doing 16,000 miles a year as the first owner of my car did for the 2 years they owned it but maybe have a little fun [emoji3]
If you want to make a return on investment there are definitely better ways than buying a C63.
 
I don’t really know the spec of my Car they seem pretty well specced to me I don’t want or need reverse cameras illuminated cills or HK Stereo I know I’ve got 19 inch Black Alloys DAB Black Leather
The lmportant bits are right Full MB Service History once a year regardless of miles always Garaged and Cleaned Properly
I know what people are saying about not using a car and it’s a waste I would love to use the car more but a large upturn on the work front at the minute has limited my use

I can only speak for myself but since owning many cars since 1980.
Personally I never bought my 507 with the view of making money.
I always loved the look and cacophony of sound generated by that magnificent power plant.
I have owned many cars and super bikes that would be worth a lot more money now then what I paid or sold them for ....

Lovely car ^

It’s great to see some 507s being listed for sale after the New Year. But they are all coupes! I’m waiting in the wings ready to jump on a black Saloon as soon as ‘it’ goes up. I know the place where people will be the first to know. :D

The saloons are so rare, To find a low mileage with good history backup is not going to be an easy task.
There’s one sitting somewhere. Just as when!
 
I agree Liz, seen a few saloons over the last few months where mileage exceeds 50k. For a ‘14 car that’s not too bad.

Out of interest, how many 507 saloons made it to the UK? Around 20?

Edit: Just seen from first page stats link; 41 based on my maths!

34 Saloons registered in the UK as far as I'm aware. Based on 26% of them being black that would mean there are around 9 black saloons out there (I've got details of 7 of them). Mileage ranges from 12,700 to 67,000 and all have 19" Titanium/Silver wheels.

I know millennium had a black saloon for sale with low miles. But was up for £££, Believe it’s changed hands a few times already.

There were certainly 4 that changed hands last year. 2 of them in October. Didn't see one at Millennium though.

Millennium heroes sold a Black one with 5k miles last year or so, It was then sold again by Targo Florio wrapped in Nardo Grey. I think that’s the only lowest mileage saloon I’ve seen.

I looked in to that car and the car needed a service due in Jan 2018 but the garage never bothered. I think they sold it in June.

Appears, The white coupe which was listed this week at listers has been sold.
