we probably ought to have a bit of a clear down to avoid getting to a "false 50" would any c63 ex owners like to request their removal from the list?

I agree with you, the bank owns it until you pay off the loan. In some cases they will retain the ownership documents.

Yes it would, as per NW Merc, because the thread is titled "Owners". It would be interesting to see the ratio's of how these cars are funded as they are very costly to buy, run, maintain and suffer a steep depreciation curve.

Err, no

It says owners hence to actually own something you would have to pay for it outright. It's like taking out finance against a television or sofa, until the loan is paid off, they still own it and if you miss a payment for whatever reason, they can still take it off you.

I'll start the ball rolling...The finance deal didn't make sense in my head, 6k down and £600pm = c£27k for 3 years ownership...and that's a very basic car. I bought a 2010 performance pack plus with £9k of spec and 8k miles...chances of losing 27k over the next 3 years is slim as this would have it worth less than £10k. Highly unlikely, therefore it made much more financial sense to buy.
