Hi Everyone,

I've just picked up my C63 (W204) to find (What seems to be) no iPod or Aux connection in the car, the COMAND screen states in the audio menu AUX & Media Interface but i'm unable to locate where I connect to, theirs no AUX input in the glovebox (I know if you have Telephone Pre Wiring there's no aux connection but I don't know if I've got that either  ) I can see a rectangular shaped thing near the vent in the glovebox (on the roof of it) is that a connection point, do I just need a cable?

The option to select "Media Interface" on the COMAND is what's confusing me, I select it and then theirs no option to select iPod or anything but then theirs nothing plugged in so that might be why?

Would the COMAND say Media Interface if it didn't have it? Anybody know any info on this? Pics would be great

Many Thanks Everyone :)

Hi Ian,

In the glovebox to the front on the right hand side of the box "roof" there should be an input connection point.

When I bought my C63 it came with three leads that connect in here, one for an Aux USB connection another for an iPod and to be honest I can't remember what the third was for! The leads were in with the manual.

If you don't have the leads I would pop down to the MB dealer that you bought the car from.

When connected with either a memory stick or iPod the Media Interface then works fine. I have also read some of the other threads on here and have loaded 200+ tracks into the Music Register which works great too.

Hope you have success

Cheers
Col
