C63 Owners do you get problems?

Could be taken a few ways really. If I was half way across with my young children and someone buzzed close I would not be happy about it. That said I always wait for green and the kids are always off their bikes at junctions, although sometimes it takes longer then the lights allow you to get you and bikes buggies etc across and you can be caught out. Consideration for other road users costs nothing.

Yes but was the pedestrian crossing working. There were no lights showing on it as far as I can make out.

No I wait until it's safe to cross and if it isn't I will walk to another safer spot often under protest from my five year old.

Was working in Hertfordshire the other day, where it's mainly 40 everywhere outside the housing estates and there was a road with a pedestrian island in the middle, this kid rode across still on his bike and paused on the island, both wheels sticking out into the road :dk:

Guy coming the other way nearly took his back wheel off!

They should wait.

Green cross code...

Agreed, but in that case there is no one to give way to.

My point is that, regardless of whether the driver feels they have right of way, the pedestrian has priority.

Unless you prefer the alternative scenario?

]Be no good on the bonnet of a Merc as the badge would go up her bum :D[/QUOTE]

That's the advantage of a Mercedes Benz ! Keeps yer thumbs clean !

I saw a nice white 13 plate C63 yesterday in Rugby, about 3pm ish coming down the dc from junction 2.

Anyone here?

I had some folks shout out "Is the car hired....Yeah I bet it is" it was an area that I usually don't go around but I was quite surprised it's not an exotic car :dk:

It was NickMercedes and Dieselman.

The other scenario is what I would do which is to wait until the traffic is clear from all approaches to that crossing (or cross and get a move on - not dawdle) - like the sensible intelligent individuals waiting on the pavement are doing.

The crossing lights might not be working in that clip - but the bikes and Gary Greaser start to cross when clearly the lights are green from which the struck car came from.

Of course you would slow down and wait for pedestrians as a driver as they make mistakes but pedestrians need to take responsibility for their own actions too - it's not a complicated scenario.

I'd just run the ****ers over, how dare they get in my way?

Lol, bit extreme.

Have you been playing GTA recently?
