Cannons CLS320 CDI W219 project - make it low

Looks great, credit to you. Super clean, love the rear stance, maybe some spacers up front or some more neg camber... although your tyres won't last long! All the same, looks fantastic.

Thanks mate, appreciate it, and already concerned about the rear tyres, got to locate somewhere to track it as it wont go on normal machines as the tracking points clip over the wheels in the arch gap.. I dont have any lol,

so need to find somewhere with a flat ramp and internal clip on tracking points

Looking good! Agree with the front needing to be a bit more flush, not sure about lower though!

yeah I think 20mm wider would be spot on, no rubbing issues at the moment goes over speedbumps with 4 in the car, only thing that touches is the rear arch mud flap bit on the back of the skirt,

That colour. Always going to be a winner. Looks stunning! Wheels just aren't a bit of me but the car and stance... Love it.
Yeah the colour has really grown on me vs the silvers and blacks you always see :)

cheers dude, and yeah I know the whees can be a bit marmite, some prefer dish, some prefer concave,

I suppose it does look as if you've got a few stiffs in the boot !
Got to say, it does look good lowered, but can the front handle another 15mm drop without tyre rub ?

yeah easilly, no contact at all at the moment, thats why you have to work out the offsets etc before you buy them, I have spent too many hours making cars fit the wheels, rolling arches and fenders, instead of malking wheels fit the car

Get her up on a ramp, hunter alignment, chock the jack points right up to get some arch clearance?

Or I've seen some garages chock the car from the subframe mounting to get clearance and align the wheels *** I'm no expert, just thrown some ideas out there.

Good luck and keep up the good work, inspirational.

Wheels in Motion for any tracking needs (bit of a distance for you to travel though)
Looks really lush that and love the colour. All you need now is AMG kit to finish it off.

Rather than going wider tyres up front, i would try spacers first as wider wheels may start to catch the suspension struts on full lock etc.

I would also raise the rear by 10mm and lower front by 5 to find a neutral ground.

Mine is lowered on Airmatic and in around london i have to be careful on the bigger speedbumps as it catches the exhaust join on its way down (aftermarket exhaust for centre X pipe), Generally you will be ok and have a very drivable car even at this ride height.

thanks, yeah this is by no means my lowest car :)

would have loved airmatic but couldnt find a facelift with one in my price range, and to be fair coilovers are better known to me and I am more familiar with them,

and yes I definaltyely need to find an AMG kit, but I am a bit worried about the colour match

Just back from a 604 mile round trip after headin gup north and finding out the m1 was closed,

got the car aligned and sorted, you will see from the pics why,

still need to drop the front end a few mm but for now am happy,

few pics from the alignment - sorry its dirty again

looks like it may have been a "bit" out haha

and for anyone who worries about clearance, look how clean the underside is, nothing hangs down, so nothing to catch :)

Car drives so much nicer now and straighter

also got a front wheel re-balanced.

however think the suspension is a tad stiff

yes the rear wheel is off the ground there, and the jack isnt even high

I recognize this place Cannon, was he able to adjust the camber too?

I just had my wheels aligned at denmead tyres & the car is now pulling to the left, they only adjusted the toe though. Will pop back in this weekend.

he did a bit on all 4 wheels, the problem was with the car still settling it needed a little bit of toe so as it settled it corrected to normal, I do need to pop back now and get it checked back over to make sure its all good, but not eating through tyres as much as it had been haha

still loving the car, will pop some pics up in a second from its last clean and wash, however its looking a bit sorry for itself now with working down dirty country lanes and next to the seaside

still not super clean , but the ride height is a bit better and a bit more settled now and the front has tucked down a bit, would still like to get a 15mm extra spacer on the front to get the fitment where I want it

and still on the hunt for an AMG front bumper

Booking in with PCS to get the ATF done ASAP now while their offer is on so hopefully Ollie and the chaps can give her some TLC too

Bad news is... company car scheme has now changed... and I have 2 months to sell my car... and buy something "newer" as its over the new 5 year ruling

Car will be up for sale immediately

That's a shame, you were doing some nice mods to.

Back to standard for selling?

so as you will know the car is up for sale

If anyone is interested in the wheels, or the yellowspeed coilovers, I may be tempted to put the car back to standard

Please let me know if you are interested in either or both, wheels should fit any Mercedes

Wheels, Coilovers and PCD Adaptors now on ebay and on the forum, :(

PAINS me to sell the car, wish I could keep it

wheels are sold :(

car still on coils but looks like this now

car now looks like this until the coilovers come off (unless sold before)
