Central locking and coming out of gear when you put your foot down

I everyone,
I have an s55 2004 and the central locking together with the soft close has failed.
All of a sudden started working and stopped again.

Also when I floor it the pre-safe comes on the display and says to reed the owners manual and comes out of gear.
Can any one help with some advise please?

First fault is very common. The switch in the pump doesn't engage and the pump runs for too long. Once it has done this a few times it logs the fault and shuts down specific parts of the pump. If this has been an ongoing issue the pump will have overheated.

You can remove the supplying fuse under the rear seat which will reset the system and see of you get any life back. Otherwise probably a new pump needed.

The other item sounds like a faulty sensor. Almost impossible to say without some time on Star. Star will also pinpoint the other fault for you.
