CLS 3 Pointed bonnet star

Anyone know if the classic 3 point star hood ornament can be retro-fitted to a 2005 CLS W219.

I found a YT video showing how to replace it, but my CLS doesn't have room to grasp it with pliers to remove.

Any clues ?

My 2005 CLS comes with the flat bonnet emblem, there is no hole in which to mount the classic upright star ornament.

Yeah, I kind of worked that out, there are two small holes that look as though they would be a PITA to secure a badge through!

The bonnet star has to be on a flex mount, which requires space beneath the bonnet.
