I've been looking through some contract hire deals recently as some big changes are happening in January, and I came across this.
I haven't followed it up yet as I'm a firm believer in "if something looks too good to be true..."

SLK 55AMG

Is it possible at the price ? Especially as for £2 a month more the same company offers the

CLK 220 CDi

I just get the feeling that if this was on ebay everyone would be shouting Scam

Actually, now I think about it, I recall reading some dodgy stuff about those guys, they take deposit and sit on it, delaying and delaying some more, then pushing the price up when you have had enough and just want the car.

You pay them £58, they tell you who is offering that deal. The price is wrong; should be about £620 p/m.

But, it's done the trick ... got us all clicking and viewing their website :D

You can get the SLK cheaper than that, you've just done exactly what i've just done over last month. Now i have to convince the better half to have a mercedes. I'm waiting for MB main dealer to come back to me to try and beat the price.. not heard anything yet.
You could get it for less when you reccommed someone else on some other dealer sites

The monthly payments don't include VAT. So the £332 becomes £390.10. and there's no maintenance.

You can get 50% of your VAT back if your VAT registered. I know so many people going down this road now instead of buying H/P

But don't you then get an horrendous BIK bill?

Gotta be a mistake. £390/month covers interest on capital maybe, plus depreciation at £18000 over two years gives £1140/month so a missing £1,000 on the advertised monthlies perhaps???.

Not exactly related, but im just in the process of signing up for a new Volvo S40 for £110 per month all in, which if you ask me is a bloody good deal!

The SLK55 does sound 'too' cheap, however there are new C200 for £199 per month if you shop about.

I agree the correct price should be in the £600's per month

where did you get the deal and what sort of spec is it? mileage?

Nothing says that it's a new car....?

13th October might be the date the previous person gives it back...

skyfleet have these, brand new 1.6 volvo's, cd, metalic paint, 4 doors, climate control etc. Hope this helps.

the 110 excludes VAT and there is also a 1000 upfront payment, plus only 5k miles

10k miles pa is 129 plus VAT but still cheap

Still too cheep cheep though:confused:

Be careful, I hear from a friend in the trade that Skyfleet are "less" than lenient when it comes to handing the car back with a few wear and tear marks etc.
