Really struggling about which shape to choose, I have no kids, and don't need the space, but I am going to appreciate the boot space coming from an S2000!

Speaking to the dealers, it's also really odd that equivalent Coupes are costing more than Saloons, but the residuals are lower in 3 or 4 years. What is going on?

Has anyone else had these dilemmas?

Well my kids are gone too.....so I would go Coupe every time.....but I did a very silly thing 5 years ago and I got a Weimaraner that is stuck to me like Velcro!!! she goes everywhere with me...even to work everyday. :fail

So since then I have been in ML63....but got a new C63S estate arriving on 10th September.:bannana::bannana:

Due to the residuals, its working out about £100-110pm more for a similar spec/age/miles Coupe vs Saloon.

Sometimes I prefer the sleeker profile of the Coupe, and other times I think the Saloon looks like muscular.

I have driven a Coupe, but not a Saloon yet.

for most cars the coupe is always my choice (M3 etc) but saloon for me when it comes to c63

Saloon for me, ageing parents and climbing around cars don't go well.

I love the look of the coupe, just not practical for me.

Steve

Saloon for me... practical yet able to turn into a beast when i am driving alone.....

Saloon, the big heavy doors of a Coupé don't do well in car parks as you have to post yourself out of a tiny gap before your door touches the adjacent car. Also it's just not cool to have a big luxury car but to them as passengers to wait while you get out, then clamber through a gap caused by your seat shifting out of the way.

Saloon for me as well.
It looks better and comes with the practicality as well.

I know the feeling my Weim (Casper) is the same he always calls shotgun!

You would know if you needed the saloon. Enjoy the Coupe !:thumb:

"Passengers"??....What are they? I bought my car for me. I admit I do "sometimes" allow the mrs to accompany in the passenger seat, but only on special occasions.

Coupe for me.

Don't buy saloons, they're truly awful* - Buy coupes and keep the demand high and the supply low. ;)

* Unsubstantiated and 100% FACT-free statement - I may also be completely biased being the owner of a coupe who has never even driven the saloon variant. TRY BOTH AND GO WITH YOUR HEART!

Saloon all the way , coupe doors are too long and the 4 doors and boot /bonnet just looks more right too me;)

Saloon all the way..looks so much more muscular.. the coupe can easily look like a standard c class!
