Coupe vs Saloon

Not so, op asked about the choice between a coupe or saloon. No where in his post did he request an opinion or preference for an estate.

I see, yes whilst I have owned some estates for their looks in the past. I would agree that alot of people make an assumption based on the practical needs.

For my self, I can't find any reason to my preference. For example in an AMG I prefer saloons but in an Audi RS I much prefer the estate versions.

No I, I'm far more intelligent than you could ever comprehend. It is not about you saying that the E coupe was not based on the C. That was an assumption that I made based on your abusive and childishly defensive responses. Those responses are there for all to see. The issue is about your abuse of the new member who was responding politely, why do it? Now in the interest of this thread and with respect for the OP and other members i will now put you on my ignore list. You, in the meantime, could 'man-up' and apologise to our new member, or leave altogether and make this forum a better place either way.

Coupe hands down.
Looks a lot better than the saloon if you can get one.
Saloons are better for family etc

How did you do that? I tried to put in a deposit on the new C63s coupe and my dealer said I can't as MB haven't released prices, etc yet.

Saloon for me! I feel they have more character than the coupes, practical normal looking 'family' cars with a noisy V8? So wrong but so right :bannana:
