cracked alloy - repair or replace?

A follow-on question: If, and it's most likely I will, scrap the alloy and buy a new, is there a significant scrap value for the old alloy?

About 6 quid for a scrap one. Good decison on getting a new one

I gave the alloy as a tip to the tyre fitted. A way of saying thank you.

maybe u can get some money off at the tyre shop, but yes scrap alumnium is going through the roof and that is why scrap yards sell it to the dealers not sure for how much but worth asking, look for one wheel on ebay or the like if u do not want to spend too much.

from personal experience on the motorway and blow out in the front it is curtains flip over and bite the dust.

i lost one the back in slc once the suspension gone str8 through, car was a writeoff, if have a spare one the same get 2nd hand one for the spare
