+1 for 3M stuff, I saw it being used at the high end bodyshop we visit annually so decided to try the perfect-it polish. Not cheap (about £35 for a 1 litre bottle) and has to be machine applied, but so much better than AG SRP, no white filler in all the crevices and a lovely shine on the car. I top it off with AG HD wax.
One small point - if the OP decides to invest in a DA, also get some 3M 25mm blue low tack masking tape for all edges, glass seals etc, and as Mercy Me says, prepare the paint thoroughly before starting the correction - you might want to consider adding a spray with Iron-X or similar, then rinse off, to remove brake dust before claying the car.
