E 300 paint code location

Hi I have a 1997 E300 , it is maroon with darker maroon bumpers I am trying to locate the colour code , does anyone know where it is located ?

Inside back cover of owners manual shod be a data card, on the data card will be your paint colours. The riveted plate above the radiator has the colour number/s too.

On the drivers door jam, B pillar.

The colour is probably Violane.

Violane is purple...I had one in that colour.
