Could someone more qualified than me confirm the engine size capacity please.
My understanding was that both the "280" & "320" have the same size engine capacity (2957 CC V6) with the difference being engine performance related.
The "280" and "320" relates to the model number of the car and not engine size.capacity.
I have seen 320's being advertised as 3.2L, hence my confusion.
New to all this, thank you.

Ginger55k - Many thanks for your quick reply.
I have seen quite a few 320's being advertised on Autotrader as 3.2L by dealers.
Thank you.

Have the 280 which has plenty of omph for motorway miles, the difference is inside the ECU which gives the 320 a bit more, everything else is the same.

Very first 280CDIs were 3222cc I6 engine too, there it was also differences for example in turbo size 280<>320. Thought these engines are rarely seen anywhere...

A 3.2L will be a straight 6, pre facelift, unless the dealer is confused, which can happen.

Thank you for all the replies.
