electric seats reset?

Issue is that on the settings I have set the the seat & steering column on easy access when key is removed .
The steering column moves up and away fine but recently the seat has stopped moving.
Just thinking a reset might solve this

Can often be reset by pulling the fuse and leaving it out for 10 minutes.

Found the fuse and pulled it but not for ten minutes....
Also pulled the correct fuse for driver seat power but it still was working ! Stopped working when I pulled the fuse for driver seat memory

The seats have two powers, one is for the lumber support and one for the module, its so the lumber can be adjusted when driving at any time.

Put ignition on and move the seat all the way back then all the way forward 2-3 times, remove key lock car, unlock car & all should be sorted.

Does this work for all models? My 91 500 SL has memory seats and I can't work out how to re-set them. Despite following the memory-set procedure, everything returns to the original positions, not the ones I'm trying to save.

As a previous owner was clearly very short, and I'm not, this is an irritant!

Pulled the fuse for more than a minute lol seems to be working ok
