First full C63 AMG front & rear brakes BBK retrofit to normal w204 with only original parts

Everything fits perfect and performs excellent!! :bannana:

I have just completed a full C63 AMG front & rear brakes BBK retrofit to my non-c63 w204. I am posting some photos and I have compiled a complete list of the parts used. Everything original MB OEM parts. No aftermarket parts and taiwanese brackets. I think this is the first retrofit ever attempted with no aftermarket parts at all. I hope this helps!!! :)

Congratulations, that looks great. So I see you've moved on from your W203.

Have you done many other mods on your 204?

I am doing more mods slowly, I have already bought parts for my next mods. Until now I have installed rear spoiler, rear diffuser and under heatshields to install the original c63 exhaust. Also installed tpms sensors to the wheels.

how much did you have to cash out?
I bet this was an expensive mod!
Did you use brand new parts or used parts?

Can C63 calipers be bolted on the original 334mm C43 rotor?

I dont think c63 caliper can be bolted to c43 as it is a different offset and also mounting points are different. I used brand new parts as the car is new and do not want to void warranty.

Looking good. Well done:) I bet they weigh a bit though!

now you have to begin to save money for a real C63 without brakes!:D
now that you have this standard c-class, when you get the c63 without brakes just swap them.

That`s a very nice upgrade and expensive to,i like it but i would lose that blue-efiency

What engines in your C-class?

great conversion but not sure of its benifits / costs depends what plans you have for the rest of the car I guess.

I have used the P30/P31 performance two-compound brakes that are lighweight for performance purposes. I assume lightweight is bue efficiency as well. :)

I never fancied a 6.3 litre engine. My engine size is just perfect for me and my driving habbits. When it comes to petrol, insurance, taxes and personal needs & circumstances my car is a better choice and winner especially this period that european crisis has affected every sector of the economy. :bannana:

I thought you had a future goal?
Maybe one day you were going to buy the AMG and for now were only dreaming of the desired C63?

I bet it's costly to own muscle cars in the UK?
Downsizing is the way to go nowadays!

I would love to drive a c63 but I would not like to own one. I could have bought a c63 but it is not wise for my needs. However I am sure that I will end up spending more money to make my w204 the way I like it, much more money than what I would have spent to buy a c63. I know this from my previous experience of fully modifying my w203. ;)

But I agree with you that a c63 is a real monster with raw power under its hood.

I am attaching some photos of the end result. :)

Nice conversion :thumb:

Just a thought - have you informed your insurance company? If so did they charge you any extra premium?

I have a 2012 c350 and quite interested in this mod. What brackets did you use for the front calipers?
