Forged wheels

I suppose as the wheels are wider the thread needs to be longer to take any lateral strain the wheels excerpt on the axles..,or I could be talking BS! :-)
Anyway, I'm sure they will look fantastic!

No, wheel diameter doesn't influence the length of the bolts.

I've just spoken to James at Projex.
He is going to send me a selection of different length bolts to try out.
I'm sure I'll be able to find some suitable ones from the bunch he is sending me.

I should receive them tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get the wheels on the car tomorrow. The only other hurdle is making sure the rears fit with no rubbing issues

Not much I can do until then, apart from wax the life out of them! :D

Nice! I've always thought that black "insides" was a good idea :)

Not the diameter of the wheels it's the lateral forces so the width if the tyre sticking to the road as you turn a bend trying to pull itself of the axle!

I get what ya mean.
But no, I don't believe this would influence bolt lengths.

I should have suitable ones tomorrow though :thumb:

Looking awesome Rash ! Looks like quality items and well finished!

Need to resist the temptation to get new wheels now :|

look lovely.

please weight them with the tyres

Hey Sean :thumb:

Yes, I'm warming to them very quickly.
They have less spokes than what I am used to but I am liking them more and more

I will try to weigh them.
But I can say that, while carrying them off the pallet and into the house, I could immediately tell they are alot lighter than my current wheels. Even with new, wide rubber on them!

After my "bonding" period with Projex, I'm sure they would be happy to accommodate a group buy. :thumb:

Less is more, yes, I tend to agree here.

As for the weight, yes, a clear noticeable difference. And like I say, that's is with tyres on them.

Good weights indeed, especially for the rears, which are 19's and 10" wide.
Fronts will obviously be lighter.
