Glad this came up, just booked one myself!
Wash and vac included. OK, means a trip out and sitting around the dealership for a while but hey ho. Gets me out of the house after Christmas!

Wish I'd seen this before. I thoroughly washed my car a couple of days ago and put my back out. I normally don't like anyone else washing my car because I don't know how careful they are to avoid grit scratches, but my back is telling me to trust MB!
Did you call them to book?
Not a good start from Mercedes in Brentford if they can't even phone me to book me in.

No, used the online request on the MB website. Just punch mercedes winter health check into google and off you go... Got a call a few hours later, booked for next week. All in all, pretty good.

MBUK are currently advertising this offer on Jazz FM on behalf of the dealer network.
Had one of my E55s in at MB the other day.
For a freebie you can't go wrong - I left the car with them for a couple of hours whilst I went shopping with the wife, no hassle.
Polite phonecall to update on when it would be ready, and to ask if I wanted the car cleaned. When I returned, it was ready waiting for me outside the main entrance, spotless inside and out, screenwash topped up and a large MB golf umbrella left in the car as a gift. The report was pretty fair and a reasonably clean bill of health - just one or two advisories that I was aware of with the suggestion that any work could wait until the next service/new year - no obligations and not pushing for anything
I was half expecting a damning report and a four figure estimate for loads of unnecessary work - but this was not the case at all.
Well done MB - has given me a good impression

Yup, had exactly the same experience, when I went for my winter check nearly four weeks ago (27/11) - all green apart from the spare tyre (unchecked).
Lovely large golf umbrella I always wanted for my boot, but didn't want to spend £35 on it

Got mine booked in for the 30th Dec, see what freebies I get!!!
You'll get either an umbrella or a winter care kit (de-icer/scraper etc) - subject to availability I think
You'll get a list of things that "need" doing as their workshop has gone quiet in December

Did anyone receive an email with a video walk through from the technician? We did, very interesting, and a nice touch.

Got my winter check done at Thurrock, expecting them to find something wrong, although I had an indie do a check a month or so ago and all was good.
I was pleasantly surprised the chap came back and said the car is absolutely fine and talked me through what they had done.
I did not get any freebie though.....apart for a wash
I may consider using them for my service plan as the chap said the next service will take all day and they will give me a courtesy car foc.

Had mine done at Lookers branch in Tonbridge which has recently been rebuilt. No one closer was offering the check.
Excellent service and check all clear. Nice coffee and cakes together with a free MB blanket and a video via email before I left.

Had my free winter health check yesterday at Robinsons in Cambridge, they did an excellent job, car came out without any recommendations (phew) and was handed over looking clean again, but not for long...
I didn't get my free gift though, so I sent a 'gentle' email to my service technician asking if they had stopped doing this (knowing they hadn't) and he emailed me back this morning saying they had ran out of the free gifts, but has spoken to their parts department and I have something waiting for me at the dealership.
Great way to secure future business!
