Friendly, these BMW owners...

So I joined BimmerForums to ask a few questions for a pal of mine.

Clearly they don't like new faces- this was the Introduce Yourself section too - check out the replies column .

Or they've recognised that your are MB member.For a while I've been thinking of joining the Beemer's club to find out wether to go for a petrol or diesel 5 series,but probably wouldn't be welcomed there..Shall I stick to MB or ....

I've asked for bits of help on another BMW forum with no hint of a reply.

Not sure what else you can do. I think it's why a lot of people visit a forum. They stay if it clicks, so if there is no reply that's pretty much that...

To be fair to them, there's a lot of new members that get passed by on this forum as well.

I've heard the Lexus forums can be very .....quiet.
Angry bunch at the MG forums.....someones always .....blowing a gasket.
RS forums are rather noisy.

I remember earlier this year going on VAG forum and having similar experience,never went back on that forum again.My New year's resolution will be getting rid of our A4 B5 as it's getting near 300 000 km.My missis is against though ,she is like- if it's going we shouldn't getting rid of.The good thing is ,that she is driving it not me...
