Yes you can, we go over regularly. In fact I may go over Saturday as it looks to be a nice day.

Just thought I'd post who are interested on doing track days regularly . You should have a look at joining lotus on track . Non profit club who run track days . I've been a member for a couple of years and have run on there days , very well run , friendly and usually fairly quite on track with not that many cars out at once .
You do not need a lotus to join but will need to email them to see if they will accept your car . I think it's just to keep the halfords brigade out etc .
Thought it may interest a few of you .

Thanks Matty, Always good to get on a club event. I really try and avoid normal track days. The fewer cars out the better and as you say no halfords racers.

The expensive bit was the articulating camera mount, a Manfrotto "magic arm". I already had that. As noted, a bit of copper pipe (actually 22mm for extra sturdiness ) which was dug out of the cupboard and two antenna brackets that cost me £1.83 from the local Toolstation. Half an hour's dicking about in the workshop and Bob's your uncle..
