help:W203 C270 dirt/oil on the turbo air inlet manifold

Just put a smear on the metal spigot and fit the pipe. The sealant will create a good seal that wont leak.

It won't be sucked in because there should be no vacuum in the intake pipe due to fresh air being drawn through the air filter.

Dear dieselman thanks a lot I've appreciated a lot your help.
Please do you know also something about EGR cleaning procedure I mean dismounting or special spray into the inlet manifold.
Thanks again

Really the manifold needs to come off and be cleaned out with a decoking solvent.
Once you start it'll be obvious. I think you will require new seals when remounting the manifold.

If Mercedes are now recommending a sealant compound, then we cant argue, use it but bewary of getting any so that it gets onto a turbine blade, sending it out of balance. Keep the paste below the compressor inlet lip and push the plastic pipe on in one forward move, then tighten the jubilee clip. Cant really comment further though, as I havent used this new paste.

thanks Dieselman, I was referring to special spray to utilize without removing anything, only to spray into the manifolds, after the MAS (to avoid damage on it).
How safe is?

if you have any experience of course.

yes they suggested this "red paste" suggested also (but they said it's better but not compulsory) to wait some hour because the past need time to well dry.

FYI, the new inlet manifold they installed is a part number modified, that do not include the separate robber seal:( the result is that the oilleaking is more than before! Now it drop down!!!

thanks for all your help:)

You cant use a spray as the engine will start to run on the volatile spray.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi Dieselman,
I've read several of your post and you seem to know the CDI's quite well.
If you don't mind, could you please help me with my car... limp mode issue :(
I get stored/current code from the car:
P0105-128 B28 (Pressure Sensor) Plausibility.
Says Component B28 is defective.
Could not find the B28 in my engine even on Star Finder.
My car is a W203 C220 CDI and is over 200,000 kms
Thanks in advance for your helper.
