How long will you keep your car?

I wouldn't normally buy so high up the depreciation curve, but once that seed is planted .

And your mate follows you into some meeting near Leeds with the DRL's shining and beckoning to you.....

I remember going to look at your current one with you. Worcester MB. I was in, or near, Oxford at the time and thought it wasn't too far away. My geography really failed me that day. :D

Have you ever owned any Alpinas?

I once bought a three year old 2001 B10 V8. Great car.

I think I kept it 15 months but sold as needed the cash!

I also had to fill it a lot and found it soul destroying at the time - mainly due to the number of miles I was doing then.

Great cars; I had a B10 3.3 and a E39 2.8, which had been fettled with Alpina springs and dampers. Sublime ride and handling in both.

Yep,E34 B10 ..

Was a beauty, sorry to sell it....

Don't plan on selling mine, if the e63 bi turbo estates come into my price range then it will be nice to get another car but wouldn't sell this diesel beast it's to much fun and I wouldn't want/need anything else other than more power of course, but then again the money on a new car I could put a few grand into this diesel engine and have a complete animal.

What plans do you have for the diesel Ricky?

The plans will never end lol but got a front splitter lined up and oem grille gloss black I need to fit and then a new set of wheels I still can't decide on lol umm bilstein dampers, led wing mirrors, interior trim going gloss black after that probably be straight through exhaust bigger tailpipes (6x4) then the usual bigger turbo, intercooler and injectors then see what figures it makes, I've seen one with them mods running around 360hp and 700 ish NM I think that would be the end of the line for me.

I came very close to buying one of these 10 years ago. Would have made a great investment but with the mileage I was doing I'd have ruined it. :(

Very nice.

I was a big fan of the E36 Alpina B3 as well.

Think i'll be keeping mine for a while. The w211 E55k is still one of the best bang for bucks cars you can buy. The 5.5 bi-Turbo is the obvious replacement, but they are 3 x the price.

How many cars can you buy and Mod over 600bhp for sub £15k. Then there is all the Luxury that goes with it, when you are not moving at pace.

It would currently be only other family reasons that i would have to sell.
