Just thought i would see if there are currently any other GTC owners on the forum.

On the Lotus forum I was in there was a section for owners cars broken down in to models for posting pictures only. Very useful for forum users to click on a car they are thinking of buying and seeing all the different colours, wheels and modifications.

Sold last week, but here are some pictures of it. It was an amazing car, I only sold it as I relocated to Cyprus.

I installed an ExValve / ASR exhaust module. It changed the sound to how I believe it should have come out of the factory.

@UKGTC I've just seen your big exhaust plans post.
Forget the post above, but it could be of use to anyone else reading this at a later stage.

I appreciate the post anyway. I am not changing the who exhaust as I believe you do the 200 cell cats and remove the secondary you get the best gain. The exhaust valve modules are great and I had one on my previous Emira. I found out that most bespoke AMG specialist tuners can set the exhaust to what ever you prefer. On these cars I found out that even in S+ or Race the valves are not fully open unless you are at high rpms, probably 4k+. I plan you have mine fully open if driving in S+ or individual. That way it will sound great all the time except for when I am driving in my Cul de Sac when I will put in in C.

You are correct, even in S, S+ and race modes the valves were only ever open 100% above 4k revs.
After installing the module I had the valves 100% open all of the time and it was a great sound at low revs, tootling around in C mode, of course that would be different with other exhaust mods.

Nice, have you got any pictures and what are your thoughts on ownership?

So far I'm loving it, one thing I always wanted and an upgrade from my CLS55 which I had for 13 years. Very different to the Boxster S ( I do miss that car dearly) ...

You must notice the big power difference to the Boxster and especially on big open roads.

Another one to add to the list here in Ayrshire Scotland. 2018 GTc Blue with the lovely soft cream interior, love it! Had it since 2020 when I replaced my 2011 Aston Martin Virage.

Welcome to the forum and the spec on your GTC is lovely!
Thanks William, I've been lucky enough to own a few nice cars in my days but honestly this was such a surprise. Bought it without driving it and was smiling from ear to ear as I drove it home to Scotland from middle England during Covid. Only gets out when it's dry and just about to go over the 20K miles mark now. Biggest problem is trying to pick it's successor! Being tempted to the dark side (Porsche 911 992) but have never driven one and so I will take my time and meantime enjoy the GTC. Might do the Carplay upgrade as that's the only little niggle I have with it.
