I recommend 124works124works124works!!!!!

Yes, I'd just like to know how much of a difference there is. Planning for the future and all that. ;)

If you can then hold out for a C320 CDI...;) Seriously quick car. With W204 on the way prices will eventually drop a little further.

I'll add to this thread regarding Ian @ 124Works.

I had written a novel about Ian and his work, but it was very boring, so the short story is that Ian did some work on my car; he also took it to an MB dealer for 4-wheel chassis alignment which wasn't done properly. I took my car back to Ian, and we took it to the dealer who decided that they needed it for the day.

Ian very kindly loaned my his mean machine, the incredible Baleno, to get home (I live about 50 miles away). He then picked my car up from the dealer the next day and brought it back to me. Incredibly, the dealer charged Ian for the extra work, even though it was they that hadn't done the work correctly in the first place (think he'll find a way to recoup this ;) ). Add in his time and petrol and this must have cost a fair bit, yet Ian refused to take any payment.

Ian has a great attitude to customer service and his bills are more than reasonable. Definitely recommended :)

Just come back from 124works, absolutely brilliant. Brian is an absolute star.

Went up there because I bought an auto dimming RVM but alas no loom. Finally got the loom from MB and as I'm off for 2 weeks for Easter (it's hard being a teacher) had time for the loom to be attached to my car.

After much dismantling, Brian with much patience took apart the passenger side interior. Soldered the loom to where it should be in the glove box and then reassembled everything.

I'm not going to say how much the job was but I was a very happy man I can tell you. Will definitely be taking the electric interior there to be installed. :bannana: :bannana: :bannana: :bannana:

Just happy to help out - and it keeps me off the streets. (During the day, at least. :D) Ian tells me he likes happy customers, so I try... :)

 Yikes! Quick, must find a proper job... ;)
