Ideas Needed - CL500 Alloys

Hi All,

I have recently purchased this CL500 and not a great fan of the wheels on it.

I have seen this wheels on quite a few CLs, but think with the AMG kit on my car - it just needs something a little bit more sporty looking (currently quite conservative IMO).

Any ideas?

I dont want to go super big on wheel side, 19" at a maximum really.

Ideally -want to stay with original Mercedes wheels as I'm not a massive fan of the aftermarket stuff.

Keen to hear anyones thoughts or experience with this....

The Difda's you have are nice rims. Very light too as they are hollow-spoked.

Look at Woodythewise's piccies if you can find them as, like you, he also has a CL.

I think the back ones look fine, the fronts some how look too small?

Not sure what I would go for, maybe these CL65 type...however I would think originals both hard to find and very exspensive?

I had the 19" AMG 111 on my CL when i bought it,which look great. I have always loved the 19" AMG 1V 2 piece which where standard on the CL 65 and an option on the CL so they are the wheels i have now,which look great IMO.

As the AMG 1V are very expensive i would go for the AMG 111's as they where the 19" option for the CL.

For what it's worth, I like the Brabus ones best or the CL65 ones. The plain 5 spoke AMGs don't do it for me at all and I'm not a big fan of the originals either but I could easily live with them.

If changing, I'd only change to a bolted up 2/3 piece.

thanks all for your help. torn between the brabus ones (which i know will be hard to find) or the 5 spokes, which will keep me going for some time.

I do agree with what people are saying that the current wheels look tidy, but it jus sits too low and looks it from the back...
