That shows how daft lots of big companys are!Busker said:Interesting I work for a very large insurance company and even with my staff discount it was still cheaper to go with MB insurance and you've guessed it - MB insurance is underwritten by that large insurance company!!!

Dieselman said:MB insurance is operated by Norwich Union. It's the same cover only a bit more expensive, at least it was when I asked for a quote.
I'm with esure - they were about £200 cheaper than anyone else - including MB, who were very upset that they couldn't get close. I too have business use at no cost.Robbo said:just got a quote from Esure, £427 with protected NCD. Thats considerably cheaper than what I am paying now.
I read the policy guidelines and you are also able to have the car repaired at a repairer of your choice. I think I will go with them when I renew in a few weeks.
gary leask said:Have you tried Frizzel (Liverpool & Victoria) tell them you have a cccccccaravan its worth a discount. I,m still in the 300,s with my slk230. Another is Lloyds TSB they are Churchill but cheaper. Its a case of taking the introduction discount then shopping around every year.
Brian WH said:My insurance is due soon, and just had the renewal notice.
Gone up from £532 to £636. No claims and nothing else had changed.
Brian WH said:I have Lloyds TSB now @ £636.![]()
Brian WH said:I am homing in on Direct Line and Saga who are both at about £540. Saga has the edge as it offers new car replacement for 2 years, and my car is in its second year. I will let you all know the final details.
