Is this W210 E320 worth a punt? been unused for a while...

Well the balance of opion is not to pursue this particular car, and I have to agree, but the prospect of owning a decent one for under £3000 has really whetted the appetite. So far a trawl of Ebay,Autotrader & Pistonheads has only brought up two likely candidates, neither of which answer their mails or phone (perhaps old adverts). The search goes on.

I think 3,000 is a bit pricey for this car. In spite of the low mileage, I would not pay more than 2000 perhaps even less. Plus that rust is going to get worse - trust me, I have a W210. Low mileage is not the main factor for buying this car, as mine has 150,000 and will likely go on for another 100,000.

Agreed, its all about condition, and short of buying from a club member/enthusiast, its not easy finding a 7 to 10 year old car in cared for condition. Still, looking is half the fun, and as my coupe has a fresh MOT, tax and Insurance for a year I can take my time till a little gem does turn up!

Dependant on what you are looking for obviously, but i might be selling her w210 E320, with the 210 E36 as well there's no point having 2 saloons, been looking for an SL320/SL500 and if i find the right car her's will be up for sale.
