If you are going to spend time building a car, why waste it building one that is rubbish?

When I was at school, a lad from up the road designed and built his own car from scratch as an A level project. It was 100 times better than that.

Maybe that was all he afford to do ?
At least he had a go

Yes, I agree. Very fair comments. Guilty as charged but I posted my negative comments on the actual car rather than the creator/builder. No, disrespect intended.
