Lenny's CLS 55 AMG

It looks much better now, the overall stance of the car. I always say the wheels can make or break a car in terms of aesthetics.

Mine has been lowered by about 2 inches and already it looks better in terms of stance as I have 18in wheels.

Interesting, lowering tends to emphasise the castor look of smaller wheels on most cars.

So ....,bit of an update
Thanks to the generosity of a forum member (I'll let him chip in to reveal himself) ....I received in the post today a set of lowering links !

They arrived around 1:30pm - I instantly got to work !

I almost got defeated and gave up on the rear as I couldn't get the stock bars off the balljoints !!
With some persistence I got it and now could
Tackle the rear quite quickly (there is a definite knack and best to
Remove the full let including sensor and arm )

Fronts took around an hour with some fiddling - again getting the stock arms off the balljoints was tough !!

I ran out of daylight h fortunately but
This is how she sits .....lowwwwwwwwwe at the rear !!!

I'll have to get to it , take it oh and screw up a full rotation to get it at the perfect height !!

What do we think ???

Lenny, You Sir done good ;) awesome mate in the best colour too ;)

Thanks again for your help and advice for
Fitment on other thread / they aren't nice to do first
Time round :(

The little bracket that sits in the. Bar above the diff , it kept moving about so had the pain of Tightening those awkward as f**k to get to 8mm Bolts as well To ensure it stayed straight

lol i bet that was tricky! i thought it was welded to the bar? mine looked abit frail but like i said lucky enough id bent the bracket on the axle by accident to the level i wanted.... Phew

Lenny, your car looks spot on. Sits perfectly and that colour......sublime. Well done with your hard work :)
As for those links, you are welcome ;)
