Perhaps compared to a Challenger Tank ?
I need a vehicle I can use for carrying large bits of furniture around, and one I can run economically.
The remit is changing slightly. Some small cars may just be too small for items of furniture as well. Though some do have rear seats that fold completely flat (Honda Jazz) and others where the rear seat can be removed (Audi A2/A-class)
this is simply about the economical one.
Budget £6k, about 3 years old+, very fuel efficient, not needed to carry large loads, decent ride, small. Anybody with good experiences of cars like this?
Perhaps I'll get a Landie instead. I certainly wouldn't have to buy winter tyres again..
Perfect little run for a 4x4.
The Panda idea is growing on me.
Yes, the Landie issue is a non-issue. I need a vehicle I can use for carrying large bits of furniture around, and one I can run economically.
Paul/'s right I need two cars, this is simply about the economical one.

The back route to Waitrose in Gerrards Cross...
Since when has there been a Waitrose in GX? Do you mean Beaconsfield?
About 3 months - in Station Road. You park in the council car park opposite and Waitrose refund you. It's the closest supermarket to me which isn't in Slough..
