Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, this morning I was driving to work 20-25 mins of mixed roads and when I over took someone then was a loss of power! There then was a loss of power on the journey to work. It was not going over a certain amount or revs and in my opinion was slower, although I don't think it was limp mode. I then had an joe at work, came out and put my foot down in auto, at about 50-60mph it felt like it was shaking a bit and juddering. The power was back though. I then put the box in manual, went through the gears and slipped back to drive (auto)! I then put my foot on the accelerator again and it was smooth no loss of power and it seemed to have stopped the problem. Does anyone know what this could be? It's done 140k full
MB history up to 131k and was serviced 500 mile ago, where it had oil
And filter change and fuel filter change. Thanks

Hi all,

"I then had an joe at work"

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.....So was having a read of your problem but couldnt quite get the jist of this bit ( as above ).
But as a thought do you ever bother to use any Injector cleaner? Many on here use it or always use use premium diesel. Lots of threads about fuel additives.
Steve .

Hi sorry I meant I then had an hour not a joe predictive text lol. I think it may be the dpf which I think it might have. I think there an optional extra but think it might have it. I've put it in manual and blasted it and touchwood it's ok. But I think I'm going to have to get used to doing that and maybe getting some fuel additive. Think I need to stop tootling round in comfort mode.
