If I'm not mistaken, that's the example which was sold Classic Benz in Lancashire - Classic Benz Website

It has the same spec and colour combination. It was a Cyprus import, but the low mileage then was genuine.

Gorgeous car, stunning example! Even rarer with the manual gearbox, too

I know it's special with that spec, but in THAT color and no leather AND £20k?

That`s sportline interior, though is not leather is very unique

If it is from Cyprus it would explain the lack of leather, hot sunny climates and leather interiors equals burnt backs of legs and anything else that comes into contact!

I'd imagine that car would make someone very happy indeed, I'd very much like to drive a manual Cab, can only wonder what it would be like. At least the dreaded auto transmission rebuild at 100,000 miles or so would not be necessary.......

I think Neil might be right about the seats. I am not aware of any tilt forward seats in the 124 range that were Sportline seats, something to do with the bolsters not permitting a full tilt forward action - could be wrong though.

wifes w124cab is uk registered and supplied with the same check seats, and they are original i was thinking of looking for leather but i am leaving them well alone:dk:

20k seems a bit pricey to me...does it not? 20k buys a great deal of second hand car these days.

Exactly my thoughts, but this is obviously aimed at W124 enthusiasts, because no else will pay that much for a car, unless he knows exactly what he's buying.

If it was an auto and had a mid-dark blue soft top I could start to see how it may be of interest to a hardy W124 enthusiast. Without these you must have to be a real hardy enthusiast in my book...or mad...although I guess some may both! Forgive me but I just can't see the fun in paying £20k for this one.

You boy`s just don`t get it,the whole think is having something unique
Yes is not cheap but is a garage Queen, you put that next to a new W212 cab and see whitch attracts more attention by enthusiasts
I would not buy it as I don`t have that money to spare just so it can sit on a garage, but many people have

You are probably right. I just don't get the whole concept of a car that doesn't get driven and appreciated I suppose. In my book a car is there to be driven and enjoyed. If people can get the same level of enjoyment just looking at it as opposed to driving it then good luck. I don't think I have the creativity or imagination to do that! ;)
